While I Was Studying...

I heard the first few notes of the newest studio album by Reel Big Fish ring out from the doors from across the hall...and promptly told the kid that if he is going to listen to RBF, he better not listen to that trash because that CD is their worst.

He responded with something along the lines of "No way, their older stuff is so crappy, like Viva La Internet..."

Mind you this was a compilation CD released in 2000 (after three studio albums...) for fun and is hardly considered a serious endeavor.

He also had the audacity to say that "Turn the Radio Off is horrible" obviously not knowing that its regarded as one of their best pieces of work. (Beer anyone?) Hell, he inspired me to check out that CD again, just to prove him wrong.

Bottom line, RBF is cool...people who don't know what they are talking about, on the other hand, are not. Especially the kid who wears a bathing suit to shower at the age of 19 (maybe even 20) and is the main suspect for leaving a not so delicious treat (you can guess what it is without clicking) in the shower a few weeks ago.

People are idiots.
